Nekeisha (she/her) is a Trinidad-native and long-time New Yorker turned Elkhart, Indiana, transplant. She received her B.A. with a concentration in Africana studies from NYU She also received her Masters of Arts: Theological Studies from Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, where she works as Intercultural Competence and Undoing Racism (ICUR) coordinator.

As an independent scholar she writes and speaks extensively on a wide range of topics related to race/racism/White supremacy, intersectionality, critical animal studies, and Christian theology and ethics.
