Kaleigh (she/they), from Brockton, Massachusetts, found her way to Montana serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA for The Montana Racial Equity Project in Bozeman. As a VISTA, Kaleigh co-facilitated numerous antiracism and bystander intervention trainings and lead the organization’s fundraising campaigns and donor management. In recognition of her work, she was awarded the honor of Forward Montana Foundation’s 25 Under 25 Award.

After their year of service, Kaleigh pursued two graduate degrees at Brandeis University: M.A. in Conflict Resolution and Coexistence and M.A. in History. Their thesis combined both disciplines, examining truth-telling and witnessing during Reconstruction through the framework of transitional justice. She was also the recipient of the Sillerman Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy Fellowship and fulfilled her fellowship interning at the Hyams Foundation.
